Games

Here are the Top Ten Games/Activities for parties

Snowball Dance
The guest of honor(s) starts out on the dance floor with a slow dancing partner. When the DJ says "SNOWBALL" the two dancing stop and quickly run to get a new dancing partner. This happens over and over until everyone is dancing.

Hula Hoop Contest
We start off with 3 or 4 separate lines of participants. The first round is between the first participants in each line. The longest person without dropping the hula hoop is the winner of that round and advances to the finals. This goes on until we have a tie or a final winner.

Limbo Contest
We play a swing dance song and select the top 4 or 5 couples to advance to a final round. Final winners are chosen after our final round (by crowd applause).

Musical Chairs
We play a song and the group walks around the chairs until the music stops. When the music stops everyone must quickly find a seat. The one(s) left standing is out. We then remove a chair or two and do it again. This repeats until we have a final winner.

Freeze
All participants will start out on the dance floor. When we stop the music, everyone freezes in place. Anyone who is caught moving with the music is stopped is out. The last one on the dance floor is the winner.

Coke/Pepsi
To play this game you have to be on your toes. One team is Coke and the other is Pepsi. When the DJ says Coke everyone on the Coke team must quickly run down to the other side and sit on the knee of Pepsi. The last on to get to the other side is eliminated. Other variations include Surge, Dr. Pepper, or Sprite. The final winners are the last two eliminated.

Mummy Wrap
We select up to four volunteers to be the Mummy. Each Mummy has two wrappers. The wrappers will have a certain amount of time to "wrap" the Mummy with toilet paper. The team with the most wrapped Mummy wins.

Connect
We form a circle on the dance floor and have everyone in the circle join hands. Hula hoops are placed between participants. When the music plays everyone has to bet their body through the hula hoop and on to the next person. When the music stops, the person still wearing the hula hoop is eliminated. If your hands disconnect you are out as well. The last two participants win a prize.

Boxing "Ring"
Two teams of eight or more are selected and brought out to the dance floor. The first person on each team has to put on a pair of boxing gloves and then try to put on a pair of oversized boxing shorts and shirt over their clothing. They then have to run to the other side of the dance floor and ring our bell twice. The first team to complete wins. (Multiple prizes required)
